LACROSSE

Ryquin has offered a variety of opportunities over the years from U9, U13, U15, U17, U19, Mens level and
Girls lacrosse teams, camps/clinics and tournaments.  Ryquin continues into its third season of a U9 boys
    team.

The Wicked Owls were the first Sacramento based U9 team.  It is comprised of boys and girls under the
age of 9 (as of August 31, 2015) who love lacrosse and/or want to experience the rush and fun of playing
lacrosse for the first time this spring.  If you are 9/10 years old and never played, please contact us
    directly about playing.

    LEVEL OF PLAY
  • No experience needed, just a desire to learn and play hard in the "Fastest growing sport on two
    feet."
    WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Learning the fundamentals, skills and understanding of the sport of lacrosse.  The players will also
be provided a fun opportunity to run around and work on their hand-eye coordination.  Players will
receive individual and group trainings through each practice to help them grow as a player and as a
    team.
    COACHES
  • The Wicked Owls will be coached by Steve "Coach Mac" McLaughlin (Coach's Bio).  He has a
passion to grow the sport properly and instill valuable life lessons of what it is like to play on and for
a team. Throughout the season guest lacrosse players will be invited to help assist in practice,
including current and former college players, local high school players and other regional coaches.

GAMES & TRAVELING
  • Some travel will be involved, but we are making every effort to keep our games as local as
    possible.
  • Majority of games will be Friday evenings.  Our hope is that through thoughtful scheduling our
players will not have to choose between Spring sports.  However, there may be times when conflicts
arise.  Please do your best to attend as many games and practices as possible, and communicate
with the Coaches and Admin in advance of such conflicts.
